Here's a look at what we've been working on in Cicero, IN. This property needed two retaining walls rebuilt from the ground up - old walls were out, and we came in to reconstruct them with fresh stone and a clean layout that actually holds up long-term.
Retaining walls aren't just about looks. When they're built right, they hold soil in place, define your landscape beds, and give the whole yard a structured, intentional feel. When they're built wrong - or when aging walls start to fail - you end up with erosion, shifting soil, and a yard that looks rough no matter how much you try to maintain it.
We rebuilt both walls using tightly fitted stone block, making sure the courses are level and properly set. Once the walls were up, we moved into the plant design and installation side of things. The new plantings were chosen to complement the stone and give the space a finished, polished appearance without being overdone.
The combination of solid hardscape and well-placed greenery is what really pulls a yard together. It's the difference between a yard that just exists and one that actually looks like it was designed with a plan. That's what we're going for on every job we take on.
This one is still coming together, but the bones are solid. The walls are in, the plants are in the ground, and the yard is already looking like a completely different space.
